Getting there
By train (best option): Cercanías C1 from Málaga Centro-Alameda, María Zambrano or the airport to Plaza Mayor. €1.80, every 20 min, 12 min from the centre or 3 min from AGP.
By bus: EMT line 75 from Paseo del Parque (35 min, €1.40).
By car: Free parking for 3 h in the outlet car park; A-7 exit 232.
By taxi: Around €18 from central Málaga, €10 from the airport.
While you are there
The complex includes Cinesa Plaza Mayor (see our Málaga cinema guide), a 20-restaurant food court (VIPS, Foster's Hollywood, Ginos, Udon Asian Food) and a Primark megastore next door. If you are flying home the same day you can leave luggage at the outlet's guest services desk (€5/bag) and walk to the airport in 15 minutes — quicker than the taxi around the ring road.
Tax-free shopping
Non-EU residents can claim IVA back on any single purchase (the €90 minimum was removed in 2023). Ask for a tax-free form at the till, get it stamped at DIVA kiosks at Málaga airport before check-in, and either drop the refund envelope in the airport post box or collect cash at the Global Blue / Planet counter airside.
A note on freshness: opening hours, prices and transport in Málaga can change. Confirm time-sensitive information through the official source before you travel.
