Málaga has two Primark stores — a compact four-floor branch in the historic centre, and a much larger one at Plaza Mayor near the airport. Which one you want depends on how much time you have and whether you have a suitcase to fill.

For a quick browse between museums, use Primark Calle Puerta del Mar in the old town. For a proper shop with the full range and parking, take the Cercanías train to Plaza Mayor (12 min from María Zambrano).

Primark Puerta del Mar (Centro Histórico)
The city-centre store sits at the western end of the pedestrian shopping loop, between Calle Larios and the Alameda. Four floors, escalators only (no lift on the ground level), and the fitting-room queue on Saturday afternoons is Málaga's most reliable stress test. The women's floor is on 1, kids and homewares on 2, men on 3.

Nearest metro: Alameda Principal (Lines 1 & 2), 4 min walk.
Nearest bus: Any line stopping at Alameda Principal (1, 3, 4, 11, 14, 34).
Primark Plaza Mayor (near the airport)
The Plaza Mayor store is a single, cavernous floor inside the open-air Plaza Mayor outlet centre, next to a Cinesa multiplex and a McArthurGlen designer outlet. This is the branch for a proper wardrobe refresh — the stock is roughly double the centre's, and there is free parking for 3 hours.

By Cercanías train: C1 line from María Zambrano → Plaza Mayor station (12 min, €1.80).
By bus: EMT line 75 or Airport bus A (stop "Plaza Mayor").
From the airport: One Cercanías stop north (3 min), or a €8–10 taxi.
Which one should you go to?
If you are in Málaga for two nights and mostly walking the old town — go to Puerta del Mar and be done with it. If you have a rental car, kids, or plan to fill a second suitcase for the flight home, Plaza Mayor is worth the 12-minute train ride.
