Málaga bus station: every route that matters.
The Estación de Autobuses de Málaga is the intercity gateway to Andalucía — Granada, Seville, Ronda, Nerja, Gibraltar and Madrid all leave from here. It sits next to María Zambrano train station, and the two are joined by a covered walkway.

Estación de Autobuses de Málaga, Paseo de los Tilos 2. Five minutes from María Zambrano train station on foot. Every major Andalusian city is reachable by direct bus — the fastest and cheapest way to reach Granada, Ronda and Nerja.

Getting to the bus station
From the city centre: Metro Line 2 to El Perchel (5 min walk), or a €7–9 taxi from Alameda.
From María Zambrano train station: Follow the "Estación de Autobuses" signs through the pedestrian tunnel — 5 min covered walk.
From the airport: Cercanías C1 train to María Zambrano (12 min, €1.80), then walk. Taxi €18–22.
From the port: EMT bus 4, or a €9–11 taxi.
Inside the station
22 platforms across a single concourse. Ticket counters, self-service machines, a café, pharmacy, ATM, tourist information kiosk and consigna (left-luggage lockers, €3–5 per day) are all on the ground floor. Free wifi covers the concourse.
A tip for the Ronda and Nerja buses
Both routes fill up on weekends and public holidays. Book online through the operator's app the night before, arrive 15 minutes early, and choose a seat on the right side going out — the coastal and mountain views are worth the small effort.
